The Kettle Mets

A family celebration held annually at the Natural History Museum on Independence Day, offering a creative and ecological alternative to barbecues. The Kettle Mets give a humorous interpretation to the national holiday festivals and customs.

Over the years, the Mets have attended music, acrobatics, clown and theater shows and delivered original and creative workshops in a wide range of fields - from martial arts, through aircraft building workshops to spinning workshops.

The Kettle Mets is a joyful collaboration with the Museum of Nature and the Museum's community garden. The performances and workshops are based on the corners of the Natural History Museum and place emphasis on independent and unfamiliar work.
