Tzipora – A Sensitive Play

Safe Place

Language: Hebrew

Ages: 5–9
Duration: 40 minutes

Two sisters find an injured bird in their yard and decide to nurse it back to health.

Through the world of imagination, they sail a boat to Africa, meet scary animals and clever snails, bring down rain, and soar into the sky with wings.

On their journey, they reconnect with themselves and with each other.

A performance by two actresses and a puppet, exploring the delicate relationships between siblings, imagination, and the power of compassion.

A sensory and musical play combining puppetry and shadow theatre.

During the performance, the audience is free to move around, make sounds, and interact. All behavior is accepted, and all reactions are welcomed; the space is permissive, though the audience is asked to avoid comments.

Triggers: dealing with injury, separation, fear of darkness, rustling paper, darkness and flashlight, live singing on stage.
