Dictator’s Mom

Michal Svironi

Duration: approx. 45 min

How did the mothers of Stalin, Mussolini, or Hitler feel?

Through puppets, stand-up, body parts, and circus, the story of a mother raising a monster comes to life.

Michal Svironi creates a wild visual world, turning a loaded and disturbing subject into a hilarious and biting satire.

A fascist comedy inspired by the childhoods of the great dictators of the 20th century.

The show is part of “The Next Dictator” — a series of performances for adults celebrating the spirit of the times and the great dictators of history.

At the end of the second show, an undemocratic election will be held for the next dictator (you can purchase a single ticket or combined ticket for both showes)— because if everything’s allowed, we might as well enjoy it.
