Jaap Slagman and Bernd Burfeind deliver a magical, airy performance on and around a large wooden chest. The two actors jump from one bizarre situation to the next. One reality quickly alternates with another and tells little miracle stories. The chest spits out familiar figures that we know from classical puppetry and makes them disappear again just as quickly as the backdrop painted on a blackboard. An enchanting performance and an ode to impermanence.
